These classes are designed to teach young children the basic locomotive skills through fun and exciting participatory classes. Children are introduced to creative movements through music and song.

(Age 4)
These classes are designed to expand on the creative movement learned in Tippy Toe Training and to introduce the basic fundamentals of ballet. The students are also introduced to the basic fundamentals of tap.
Basic Dance

(Ages 5-6)
These classes are designed to teach students how to put basic tap steps together to produce a combination. The correct terminology and body positioning will be introduced. The ballet classes will begin using ballet barres.

Competition Team
Competitions are exciting events that challenge dancers to reach new heights, boost confidence and build team spirit. The Shoestrings Competition Team participates in regional competition events each spring as well as national events each summer. Students are invited to join the Competition Team based on their dance skill and commitment.
