From the time I was six years old, I had a dream to someday open my own dance studio. Shoestrings is the culmination of that dream!
My goals and aspirations are to provide professional dance training in an atmosphere where students can enjoy themselves while learning. I feel that individual attention is vital to help each child reach his or her full potential. Although not all children will aspire to a career in the field of dance, I will offer an atmosphere where each child grows in the direction that fills their individual needs.
I have developed a teaching technique that will best emphasize a student's strengths while working toward the elimination of his or her weaknesses.
I want my students to not only grow in the technical aspect of dance, but also to explore the field of dance as an art form and develop a love of dance that will last a lifetime.
So lace up your dance shoes and come join us at Shoestrings Studio!
Shoestrings Studio provides high-quality dance instruction to students ages 2-18, encouraging each student to develop a passion for dance in a fun, supportive environment. By treating each student as an individual, we help students emphasize their strengths and reach their own specific goals, whether they want to compete for a top award or just dance for exercise and enjoyment.

Shoestrings Studio is excited to announce we have just become a member of the Wingman for Dance
Throughout the year Shoestrings instructors will be recognizing student dancers for 'Wow' moments. These moments can be anything from helping a friend in class to mastering a difficult step. Our instructors will reward the students by placing their picture on our 'Student Spotlight' wall. All students featured on the wall will be invited to dance as a group in our June recital.
Something fairly new that we have started to do is organizing fun trips to expose more students and their families to the performing arts. Our competition team has had the opportunity to travel and perform and it is a great experience for team building and socializing with friends. We've decided to extend this idea to the entire studio by arranging some fun "field trips" that students and their families can attend. Our first trip in 2016 was to New York City to attend the Rockettes Experience and it was nothing short of exciting for all! An overnight trip that included tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a tour of Radio City Music Hall and, the best part, 3 hours of instruction with professional Rockettes performers in their rehearsal studio!
Disney 2018 -We just got back from our exciting Disney trip and it was a blast! The girls got to perform in a parade inside Epcot, perform their stage performances and attend a terrific gala to wrap it all up with performers from all over the world! It was great seeing families enjoying time together, using the park hopper passes to hit all the rides, getting together by the pool and having a magical time!
Stay tuned for our next adventure in Dance!
